Michael Stoffa's life story is one of inspiration and dedication. In Michael Stoffa: Artist and Storyteller, Stoffa recounts his life from humble birth to Slovakian peasants (following the reign of the brutal Austro-Hungarian Empire) to his present position as one of America's highly acclaimed landscape painters.

From a tiny village nestled in a valley south of central Europe's Tatra mountain range, his journey to a small New England coastal town was a challenging one. In the midst of tragedy and triumph, through good times and bad, Stoffa's positive outlook served him well. He never faltered in his love of life, devotion to art, and deep religious faith.
